A Conversation Over Lunch Leads to a New Business
EnPak founder Marlene Betances and her co-founder, Rick Rivera, never planned to become business owners. They both worked full-time for a local medical device manufacturer. One day during lunch with colleagues, they discussed a bottleneck in product rework and relabeling. Those friends at the table encouraged them to “do something about it.” That prompted a simple but pivotal question: Could we make this work? That moment marks the earliest stages of how EnPak LLC got started.
