Insights from EnPak’s Founder

In this video, our founder reflects on three important lessons from 15 years in business and how they shaped our journey as a small company in a highly regulated industry. These lessons influence how we lead, how we grow, and how we navigate challenges. What’s interesting? They show up in just about every part of life. If you’re building something that matters—in work or beyond—this might resonate.

Lesson 1: Prepare for a Marathon
This is a marathon, not a sprint. Things are always changing in business; you’re always adjusting. You get to a point and then things change again because you’re growing and evolving. So don’t expect things to happen overnight and don’t expect them to be stable.
Lesson 2: Relationships Come First
Relationships are the most important part of life and that’s true of business too, whether it’s your team members, customers, or other business relationships. It’s critical to make sure that you give relationships the attention that they need and you nurture them because they’ve certainly been critical to my business success as well as my joy in life. It’s been the most rewarding part of being a business owner.
Lesson 3: Don’t Quit
You won’t fail unless you quit. There have been many times along this journey where I could have said, “It’s just too much, I can’t do it.” And somehow found the strength to keep going and days later it was a totally different story. So if you’re going through a hard time, just keep going. It will be all right.
